ILLUMINATION STATION VBS challenges kids to answer Jesus’ important question to His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids disocver that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.

The Deacon Selection Committee nominates members to fill vacancies on the Deacon body based on the Committee’s prayerful consideration, discussion of the church’s needs, and the candidate’s availability to serve. Deacon qualifications: must have been a Christian for at least five years, have been a member of Tabernacle for three years, be 25 years of age or older, and be involved in the life and ministry of the church. Illuminated with candles and soft lights, the Biltmore House appears as it did Christmas Eve 1895, when it officially opened by George Vanderbilt. VBS Choreography Team Practice – We would love for your child to join our VBS choreography team this year! Children who have completed kindergarten and can attend four out of the five practices are eligible to perform on stage during VBS. Practices will be on Wednesdays from 6-7 PM in the fellowship hall on May 13, 20, 27, and June 3, and on Saturday, June 6, from 10-11 AM in the worship center.
Bring the whole family and join us for a fun-filled Family Trivia Night on Sunday, June 14, from 5:00–7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall! Enjoy a delicious dinner, friendly competition, and lots of laughs as families team up to answer all-ages trivia questions. Whether you’re a trivia champion or just coming for the fun, this will be a great evening of food, fellowship, and family memories you won’t want to miss!
We are excited to host the 3rd Annual Fellowship with First Baptist Church of Carrollton this Wednesday, July 10, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at our pavilion.
The evening will include food, drinks, music, and games. We are also honored to have Dr. David Hughes share a brief message as we join together in worship.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with setup and cleanup. If you are available to help, please call the church office for more information.

The evening will conclude with our VBS Worship Rally at 7:00 PM in the Worship Center, where our kids will lead us in worship and share some of the songs they learned throughout the week.
