Wednesday night activities resume August 12 with our Fall Kickoff Cook-In! Join us for a church-wide dinner that starts at 4:45, adult discipleship opportunities, children’s activities and student worship as we launch into a new season together. We can’t wait to see you there!

TeamKID -Missions and Discipleship

Wednesday nights are back! TeamKID: All In begins Wednesday, August 19, from 6:00–7:00 PM!

Each week, kids will have fun with friends while learning what it means to be ALL IN as a follower of Jesus. Throughout the year, we’ll explore worship, Bible study, prayer, rest and remembrance, serving others, and sharing our faith—helping kids learn how to live out their faith every day at home, at school, and wherever they go.

Join us Wednesday nights as we grow, learn, serve, and have lots of fun together!

Children’s Choir

August 19

Children’s Choir begins Wednesday, August 19, from 5:30–6:00 PM. Kids will learn songs, play instruments, grow in their understanding of worship, and have opportunities throughout the year to share what they’ve learned with our church family. We can’t wait to hear our TabKids lift their voices and praise the Lord!

Footsteps of Paul Tour

April 18-27, 2027

Join with Dr. Stephen Allen and Rev. Dan Dockery on a life-changing journey to some of the most awe-inspiring biblical sites in Greece and Turkey on April 18 – 28. Walk in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul as you explore the sacred places where his missionary journeys and letters helped shape the foundation of early Christianity. Serve the City

September 19

Calling all students, join us for Serve the City on Saturday, September 19, at Mount Holly Church! Invite your friends and spend the day serving our community while growing in your faith alongside other students. The event runs from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and includes a service project, lunch, dinner, and a T-shirt for those who register by September 1. The cost is $35 per student. We hope you’ll be part of this incredible day of service and fellowship!

New Seasons of Life Group

September 13

Life is filled with seasons of change and transition. Whether you are adjusting to a new chapter, experiencing changes in family life, or simply navigating a different season, you don’t have to go through it alone.

New Seasons of Life Group provides a welcoming place to connect with others, share experiences, find encouragement, and discover God’s guidance and purpose as you navigate life’s changes.

The group will meet​ ​September 13th at 3:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room. Participants should park in Parking Lot D and enter through the Worship Center door.

Called Church Conference – Financial Plan Discussion

Sept. 13 & Sept. 27

A called Church Conference is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, at 4 PM in the Chapel. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Projected Contributions and Ministry Expenditure Plan for Fiscal Year 2026-27. Members of the Finance Committee will be available to answer questions and clarify any information. The expenditure plan will be voted on during a called Church Conference at the end of the worship service on Sunday, September 27, without discussion.

Sr. High Choir Rehearsals

September 13

Sr. High Choir meets each Sunday starting September 13 and is open to any 9th-12th grader. We will be learning to lift our voices in the praise and adoration of our Redeemer and Savior, Jesus. We are preparing to lead in future Sunday services, attending REELFEST in January and mission tour in 2027.

Allen Family 10 Year Anniversary

September 20

Stephen and his family have been an exceptional blessing to Tabernacle and our community throughout the past 10 years. Through Stephen’s faithful leadership and Leeann’s many years of loving service, especially with the children of Tabernacle, their family has touched countless lives and helped lead others to follow God’s direction. We are grateful for the lives that have been touched, the ministry that has taken place, and the many ways God has worked through Stephen’s leadership and the faithful service of our church family.

Join us as we celebrate on September 20 and give thanks for 10 years of faithful service, leadership, and ministry with Pastor Stephen and his family!

TeamTAB Carrollton Half- Marathon

September 26

The TeamTAB four-person relay team is ready to participate in the Carrollton Half Marathon & Relay on September 26!

Our team members are Dana Baranski, Joe Murrah, Tee Connor, and Rob Sauls. The race starts at 7:00 AM, with both the start and finish lines located at the AMP (Carrollton, GA 30117).

Please make plans to attend and cheer us on to the finish line!

Ole McDermitt’s Farm Family Outing

September 25

Attention Tabernacle Families, both young and old! We invite you and your friends to join us for a night of fellowship and fun at Ole McDermitt’s Farm on September 25. There will be activities for everyone, including hay rides, a big slide, a petting zoo, and a corn maze! Dinner will be provided and served at 6:00 PM. Please note that you must pay in advance and register by September 22 to attend. The cost is $10 per person. We look forward to seeing you there!

TeamTAB 5K Challenge

October 31

You are invited to TeamTAB Race Day on October 31, 2026, at 8:00 AM. This event marks the final leg of the Carrollton Roadrace Series.

The race will begin at 8:00 AM, with both the start and finish lines located at the Midtown Water Park (200 Martin Luther King Jr St, Carrollton, GA). We hope you will join us to cheer on our team.

Tabernacle PraSingers

September 16

The Praisingers will resume on September 16. This is our Sr. Adult Choir meeting to glorify the Lord in song and to go outside the walls of Tabernacle with the gospel message.

55+ Adults Day Trip to Mercier’s Apple Ochards

September 28

Our 55+ Adults are heading to Mercier’s Apple Orchards on Monday, September 28, for a fun fall day of great food, fellowship, and beautiful scenery! We’ll depart at 9:00 AM and return around 4:00 PM. The cost is $10 plus lunch. Space is limited to the first 30 people, with a waiting list available once the trip is full. Sign up at the Help Desk with your payment to reserve your spot. Come enjoy a wonderful fall day together at the orchard!

League of Friends Parade

October 5

/ 3:30 PM

League of Friends parade will be October 5 at 3:30. This year we encourage paraders to decorate their car, bike, float, truck or themselves however they want. Since the parade is In October, feel free to dress for fall or any fun costume. We will line up in parking lot and circle through parking lot D. League of friends members will be seated in the circle for the parade. Participants may drive or walk through the parade as often as they like.
