The Deacon Selection Committee nominates members to fill vacancies on the Deacon body based on the Committee’s prayerful consideration, discussion of the church’s needs, and the candidate’s availability to serve. Deacon qualifications: must have been a Christian for at least five years, have been a member of Tabernacle for three years, be 25 years of age or older, and be involved in the life and ministry of the church. The evening will include food, drinks, music, and games. We are also honored to have Dr. David Hughes share a brief message as we join together in worship.
