ILLUMINATION STATION VBS challenges kids to answer Jesus’ important question to His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids disocver that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.

Join Dr. Stephen Allen for Adult Discipleship on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm in Room 209 for 4-week study entitled Sacred Wiring. During these sessions, you’ll learn how God has wired you with a unique personality-type that allows you to take part in the greater Body of Christ. Using your Myers-Briggs Personality type, we’ll seek to understand the character of Jesus and your place in His mission. There is not book for this study, but handouts will be provided.
As we prepare for an incredible week of Pine Cove City Camp, you can play a vital role! We are seeking additional host homes for camp counselors from May 23–30, 2026. We still need homes for both male and female counselors. Opening your home helps make camp possible and supports the leaders who will invest in our kids all week long. Mark your calendars for West Georgia FCA’s 6th Annual Power Camp for rising 2nd- 6th graders hosted at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Power Camp is an exciting, fun one-day FCA camp designed for elementary-aged students to experience Jesus, games, and competition. There are only 100 spots available and registration opens Wednesday, April 15.

Please join us as we celebrate and honor our 2026 high school graduates on May 17 during worship. Our list of graduates will be posted the week of May 10th. Graduates will have tables you can drop letters and cards at before and after the recognition service.
We will observe the Lord’s Supper on Sunday, May 24 during the morning worship service. Please join us as we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins as we observe this important ordinance.
We will offer Darkness to Light child protection training on Wednesday, May 20, from 6-8 PM for those who work with children and youth. Church policy requires all volunteers who work with minors to complete the training. If you have not completed the training in the past 3 years, please plan to join us. The Deacon Selection Committee nominates members to fill vacancies on the Deacon body based on the Committee’s prayerful consideration, discussion of the church’s needs, and the candidate’s availability to serve. Deacon qualifications: must have been a Christian for at least five years, have been a member of Tabernacle for three years, be 25 years of age or older, and be involved in the life and ministry of the church.
