We invite you to join us Wednesdays for engaging opportunities to worship, learn, and connect. Whether you’re a child, student, or adult, there’s something for everyone on Wednesday nights at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
5:30 PM – Kids Music
Children learn to sing, move, and make a joyful noise while discovering God’s love through music.
6:00 PM – Kids Mission & Discipleship
Kids dive into TeamKID! — a fun, interactive program that helps them grow in their faith while learning how to follow Jesus in everyday life.
6:00 PM – Adult Discipleship Classes
Meaningful studies designed to help adults grow deeper in their walk with Christ. Current offerings include The Gospel of John: Knowing Jesus Through the “I Am” Statements and Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer (especially for parents).
6:00 PM – Student Worship
A time for students to gather, build friendships, and grow in their faith through worship and teaching.
6:00 PM – Tabernacle Choir
Choir rehearsal begins as we lift our voices together and prepare to lead the congregation in worship each week.
On Sunday, October 12 at 3:00 PM in the Life Center Gym, we’re hosting a co-ed “blind draw” Pickleball Tournament where teams are assigned before the first game.
It’s free to play, and whether you’re on the court or in the stands, there’s a place for everyone. Snacks and drinks will be provided for both participants and spectators. Doors open at 2:00 PM.

The next 55+ lunch is on Tuesday, October 14 at 11:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Special guest is Jillian Walker, Activities Director at the Birches.
There will be no Wednesday Night activities on October 15 due to fall break. Activities will resume on October 22!
A fun, high-energy overnight event with worship, games, and food. Students can stay the full night or be picked up before midnight.

This year’s festival is also our Preschool’s Family Night, and we need lots of helping hands to show love to our preschoolers as well as our own church families. Costumes are welcome, so bring your best outfit and join the fun!
Candy & Prize Collection: We are collecting candy, pencils, and small, fun toys to use as prizes during the event. You can drop off donations in the Fall Festival collection boxes located near the Fellowship Hall.

Tabernacle will host the 152nd annual meeting of the Carrollton Baptist Association on Sunday, October 19, at 6:00 PM in the Worship Center. The guest speaker is Dr. Marcus Merritt, Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry, Doctor of Ministry Program Coordinator, and Director of Church Relations at Luther Rice Seminary. The Anthem Edition Quartet and the Tabernacle Choir will present special music.
As the search for our next Minister of Music and Worship continues, the committee would love some input from the congregation! Take a moment to complete this short online survey (less than 3 minutes). Please submit your response by October 12.

Please join us for a Deacon Ordination Service on Sunday, November 9, at 5 PM in the Chapel. Eric Dalton, Clint Hoffman, Kelly Heggeland, and Allyson Bretch will be ordained during this special and meaningful service. A cookie and punch reception will follow in the Heritage room. We will also honor our new Deacon Emeriti Peggy White, Don Hall, Bill Fullilove, and Jerry Casey during the morning service on November 9.
