Wednesday Night Activities

January 8

There will be no Wednesday Night Activities on December 25 or January 1. Activities will resume on January 8 and the schedule is below. Join us and invite a friend to be here midweek!

  • 5 PM- Dinner in Fellowship Hall
  • 6 PM- KidsCREW, Student Worship, and Adult Discipleship
  • 6:30 PM- Tabernacle Choir Rehearsal

For Adults, here is the discipleship class description:

Are you in a desert? It’s time to remember the promises of God. After 40 years of wandering the desert, the people of God found themselves at a turning point. Moses was dead and buried. A new leader, Joshua, had risen in his place. How would the people respond? Would they continue to follow a godly leader and trust in the promises of God? Would you? Join us for this seven-session study and see how, ultimately, the faithfulness of God through Joshua points to the faithfulness of God through Jesus. Pastor Stephen will lead this class, and the book cost is $10.

55+ Fellowship Lunch

January 14

Kick off the New Year with friends at the 55+ Fellowship Lunch on January 14 at 11:45 AM. Food, Fun, and Fellowship is a great way to start the New Year. Special Guest will be Dale Moore, Men’s Basketball coach at UWG.

Hymn Sing & Chili Cook-Off

January 12

/ 5:00 PM

Join us Sunday, January 12, at 5 PM in the Chapel for an old-fashioned hymn sing. There will be no set program, and anyone can call out their favorite hymn. The only rule is that it must be in the hymnal. It will be a great night as we raise our voices in worship while we sing the great hymns of our faith. After the singing, join us for an exciting and heartwarming Chili Cook-Off in the Fellowship Hall at 6 PM, where the vibrant community spirit of Tabernacle Baptist Church truly shines! This delightful event invites all members to showcase their culinary talents in a warm welcoming atmosphere. As an added incentive, there will be prizes awarded, along with trying all kinds of chili for free. If you’re interested in entering your chili or have any questions, please reach out to Kelly Heggeland at 404-626-0938.
