Mother's Day...Parent/Child Dedication is Sunday, May 11, during the 10:30 am worship gathering. Additionally, May 11 is Pentecost Sunday, so please wear red in commemoration of the day. There will be no evening activities on Sunday.
Senior Adult Luncheon: Tuesday, May 13, 11:45 am in the Fellowship Hall. Carl Brack will bring a special program on gardening, so attendees make sure to bring your gardening questions to this local expert. Please also bring side dishes and dessert, as the church will provide the rest.
Jeff Slaughter in concert Wednesday, May 14, 5:30 pm in the Worship Center. Don't miss an exciting night to celebrate kids from a Master Kid Entertainer! Jeff is a "kid-extradordinaire" leading worship for summer camps and children's ministry events world-wide.
Parents' Night Out: Friday, May 16, 6-9 pm. Please call the church office to register your child.
High School Graduates' Recognition: Sunday, May 18 for Tabernacle's graduating high school seniors. The church family will celebrate this milestone for students with recognition during the morning worship hour.
Pictorial Directory Make-Up Day: Monday, May 19. Olan Mills has allowed a make-up day for those who were not available during the earlier photography sessions. Please sign up at the designated table located in the hallway outside the Worship Center.
New Wednesday Evening Women's Bible Study: Wednesdays beginning May 21 at 6 pm in Room 206. Childcare and group refreshments will be provided. Kirby Butler and Elle Harden will facilitate this study, which is a compliation of video teachings by Beth Moore from her Life Today television show. Each session will feature a distinct, different discussion topic, so all ladies are welcome to attend as their schedule permits throughout the ten week study. Questions? Camp Wave (Grades 1-6) will meet each day after VBS from 12-3 pm. Cost is $35 per child (cost includes a T-shirt). Contact the Children's Ministry office to sign up.
Summer Mission Trip: June 21-28, San Antonio, TX, for students. Cost is $125 per person. Participants, please contact the Student Ministry office by May 21 with your registration form and $50 deposit.
SuperWOW: July 7-11, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, for students. Cost is $225 per person. Contact the Student Ministry office by May 21 to register. Registration form and $50 deposit will be required by that date.
